About Marika Pollak

I am a psychotherapist, and have had a successful private practice for over 20 years. I have also provided clinical training for graduate students for several years.

My approach to psychotherapy is based on Psychodynamic Theory, specifically on Self-Psychology. Knowledge from the areas of Attachment Theory, Trauma Theory, treatment of dissociation, Cognitive Behavioral Psychology, and feminist analysis are a core part of my understanding. I also use tools from other approaches along with my intuition, creativity, and listening and empathic skills.

My private practice is based in Toronto.
